Quetta Division is an administrative division of Balochistan Province, Pakistan, being the third tier of government. Divisions Of Pakistan
The four provinces, capital territory and two autonomous territories of Pakistan are subdivided into 38 administrative "divisions", which are further subdivided into districts, tehsils and finally union councils. These divisions were abolished in 2000, but restored in 2008. Washuk District
Washuk District ( Balochi and Urdu: ) is a district in Balochistan province of Pakistan. Washuk, the district headquarters, is located at the center of the district. Administration Washuk District was once part of Kharan District in Balochistan province. It was declared a separate district in 2007, but its governance issues are largely managed by Kharan's district administration. It is further subdivided into 3 ''Tehsils'' or subdistricts, 10 union councils and 216 ''mauzas'' (villages). Geography Washuk District is spread over 33,093 km2, of which only 71,520 hectares are arable. The rest consists mostly of barren desert and mountains of the Central Makran Range. Quetta District
Quetta ( ps, کوټه, bal, , ur, ) is a district in the north-west of the Balochistan province of Pakistan, on the border with Kandahar province, Afghanistan. It is part of Quetta Division. Pishin District
Pishin ( bal, پشین, ps, پښين, ur, ), IPA: pʂin/pçin, is a district in the Balochistan province of Pakistan. In 1975 it was separated from Quetta District, while in 1994 part of it was split off to form the new district of Killa Abdullah. The name Pishin is a modernized form of ‘Pushang’, which is how the city was designated in (mainly pre-modern) Persian sources (Arabic sources using 'Fushang'). Myth attributes the origin of the Persian designation to a son of the mythical Emperor Afrasiab. Fushing was the spelling used in the records of the Afghan government. The population of Pishin District was estimated to be over 300,000 in 2005. Killa Abdullah District
Kila Abdullah District or Qilla Abdullah (Urdu and Balochi: , ps, قلعه عبدالله ولسوالی) is a district in the north west of Balochistan province of Pakistan. Kila Abdullah was separated from Pishin District and made a new district in June 1993. The district is located within the heartland of the Achakzai tribe of Durrani Pashtuns. Kharan District
Kharan district ( bal, هاران/خاران; ur, ) is a district in the Balochistan province of Pakistan. Demographics At the time of the 2017 census the district had a population of 162,766, of which 84,631 were males and 78,135 females. Rural population was 111,378 (68.43%) while the urban population was 51,388 (31.57%). The literacy rate was 40.93% - the male literacy rate was 55.42% while the female literacy rate was 25.47%. 595 people in the district were from religious minorities. At the time of the 2017 census, 81.49% of the population spoke Balochi and 16.88% Brahui as their first language.
