Quảng Xuyên
Quảng Xuyên is former district of South Vietnam. It was established on January 29, 1959, and included communes Bình Khánh, An Thới Đông, Tam Thôn Hiệp and Lý Nhơn. On September 9, 1960, South Vietnam government transferred the district to Biên Hòa province. It was added to Gia Định province in 1970. In 1976, when Gia Định Province was dissolved, it was transferred to Đồng Nai province and renamed to Duyên Hải district. It was merged to Ho Chi Minh City Ho Chi Minh City (HCMC) ('','' TP.HCM; ), commonly known as Saigon (; ), is the most populous city in Vietnam with a population of around 14 million in 2025. South Vietnam
South Vietnam, officially the Republic of Vietnam (RVN; , VNCH), was a country in Southeast Asia that existed from 1955 to 1975. It first garnered Diplomatic recognition, international recognition in 1949 as the State of Vietnam within the French Union, with its capital at Saigon, before becoming a republic in 1955, when the southern half of Vietnam was a member of the Western Bloc during part of the Cold War after the 1954 Geneva Conference, 1954 division of Vietnam. Biên Hòa Province
Biên Hòa (邊和) ( )) is a former province of South Vietnam originally formed in 1832 containing areas of Đồng Nai province, Bà Rịa–Vũng Tàu province and Bình Phước province with total area of over 17.000 km2. In 1876 it was split to Bien Hoa, Thủ Dầu Một and Bà Rịa. On October 22, 1956, it was split to Bien Hoa, Long Khánh, Phước Long, Bình Long Bình Long is a town of Bình Phước Province in the Southeast region of Vietnam. Cần Giờ District
Cần Giờ is a coastal suburban district of Ho Chi Minh City, in the Southeast region of Vietnam. The district is located 50 km from downtown Ho Chi Minh City. As of 2019, the district had an area of 704,45 km² and population of 71,526. Cần Giờ is home to Cần Giờ Mangrove Forest, a biosphere reserve listed by UNESCO.
