Queco Piña
Sergio "Queco" Piña Cousillas (born 17 July 1980) is a Spanish former footballer who played as a goalkeeper. In a 19-year senior career, he appeared in 84 Segunda División matches over seven seasons, representing Racing de Ferrol, Alicante, Ponferradina, Leganés and Huesca. Club career Born in A Coruña, Galicia, Piña finished his youth career with Deportivo de La Coruña, and made his senior debut while on loan to amateurs Sporting Meicende. He returned to the former in summer 1999, and was immediately assigned to the reserves. Piña signed with another reserve team in 2000, Celta de Vigo B of the Segunda División B. Two years later, he moved to CD Ourense also in division three, being sparingly used in his only season. Segunda División B (English: second division B) was the third tier of the Spanish football league system containing 102 teams divided into five groups, until it was replaced by the new structure in 2021. It was administered by the Royal Spanish Football Federation. It was below the top two professional leagues, the ''Primera División'' (also known as La Liga) and the ''Segunda División'', and above the ''Tercera División''. 2007–08 Segunda División
The 2007–08 season was the 77th in the history of the Segunda División (known as the Liga BBVA for sponsorship reasons), the second tier of the Spanish football league system. The first matches of the season were played on 25 August 2007, and the season ended on 15 June 2008. Celta de Vigo, Real Sociedad, and Gimnàstic de Tarragona were the teams which were relegated from La Liga the previous season. Racing de Ferrol, Eibar, Sevilla Atlético, and Córdoba were the teams which were promoted from Segunda División B the previous season. The first goal of the season was scored by Joseba del Olmo, who scored an 18th-minute goal for Eibar against Racing de Ferrol in the early kick-off. Substitute (association Football)
In association football, a substitute is a player who is brought on to the pitch during a match in exchange for an existing player. Substitutions are generally made to replace a player who has become tired or injured, or who is performing poorly, or for tactical reasons (such as bringing a striker on in place of a defender). A player who has been substituted during a match takes no further part in the game, in games played under the standard International Football Association Board Laws of the Game. Substitutions were officially added to the Laws of the Game in 1958. Prior to this most games were played with no changes permitted at all, with occasional exceptions in cases of extreme injury or players not arriving to matches on time. The number of substitutes has risen over time as well as the number of reserve players allowed to be nominated.
