Qingdao–Rongcheng Intercity Railway
Qingdao–Rongcheng intercity railway is a high-speed railway located in China's, Shandong Province. It travels along the Shandong Peninsula connecting to Qingdao and Rongcheng. Line length is (containing a total length of sidings, spurs and depots etc. of ). The design speed is based on service. However, it has been reserved for the line to be upgraded, if warranted, to . Construction consisted of a three-month preparation period, a building period of 27 months and with a joint testing and commissioning period of six months. On December 28, 2014, the Qingdao–Rongcheng intercity railway opened from Jimo to Rongcheng. The whole line opened on November 16, 2016. Jimo District
Jimo District (), formerly Jimo City (), is a District of Qingdao, Shandong. Location Jimo is located in the southwest of the Shandong Peninsula, bordered by the Yellow Sea on the east and Mount Lao on the south. Climate Jimo has a moderate monsoon climate. The yearly average temperature is about , and average annual precipitation is . History Jimo was established in the Eastern Zhou Dynasty, at which time it was the second largest settlement in Shandong. Haiyang
Haiyang (), a coastal city in Shandong province in eastern China, located on the Yellow Sea (southern) coast of the Shandong Peninsula. It is a county-level city under the administration of the prefecture-level city of Yantai. Beijingnan (Beijing South) railway station () is a large railway station (mainly serving high speed trains) in Fengtai District, Beijing, about south of central Beijing, between the 2nd and 3rd ring roads. The station in its present form opened on 1 August 2008 and replaced the old Beijing South station, originally known as Majiapu railway station and later renamed Yongdingmen railway station, which stood 500 metres away. Jinan railway station () is a railway station in Jinan, Shandong, China. It is on both the Beijing-Shanghai Railway and Qingdao-Jinan Passenger Railway. It accommodates intercity High Speed services towards destinations as Qingdao, Qingdao North, Yantai, Weihai, Rongcheng and Longkou. Weihai
Weihai (), formerly called Weihaiwei (), is a prefecture-level city and major seaport in easternmost Shandong province. It borders Yantai to the west and the Yellow Sea to the east, and is the closest Chinese city to South Korea.
