Qazançı, Zangilan
Qazançı () is a village in the Zangilan District of Azerbaijan. History From 1993 until 2020, Qazançı was under the control of the Armenian Armed Forces. During the 2020 Nagorno-Karabakh War, the village was retaken by the Azerbaijani Armed Forces. Zangilan District
Zangilan District () is one of the 66 districts of Azerbaijan. It is located in the south-west of the country and belongs to the East Zangezur Economic Region. The district borders the districts of Qubadli, Jabrayil, the Syunik Province of Armenia and the East Azerbaijan Province of Iran. Its capital and largest city is Zangilan. As of 2020, the district had a nominal population of 45,200. Geography Zangilan city is located in south-western Azerbaijan, in the northern part of the Aras River and borders Armenia and Iran. There exists a Mesozoic relief and cretaceous, volcanic and sedimentary rocks are spread in the territory of the district. The Armed Forces of the Republic of Armenia (, abbreviated ՀՀ ԶՈՒ, ''HH ZU''), sometimes referred to as the Armenian Army (), is the national military of Armenia. 2020 Nagorno-Karabakh War
The Second Nagorno-Karabakh War was an armed conflict in 2020 that took place in the disputed region of Nagorno-Karabakh and the surrounding occupied territories. It was a major escalation of an unresolved conflict over the region, involving Azerbaijan, Armenia and the self-declared Armenian breakaway state of Artsakh. The Azerbaijani Armed Forces () is the military of the Azerbaijan, Republic of Azerbaijan. It was re-established according to the country's Law of the Armed Forces on 9 October 1991. The original Azerbaijan Democratic Republic's armed forces were dissolved after Azerbaijan was absorbed into the Soviet Union as the Azerbaijan Soviet Socialist Republic from 28 April 1920.
