Guðlaugur ''Pétur'' Pétursson (born 27 June 1959 in Akranes) is a retired Icelandic footballer who was active as a forward. Club career Pétur made his professional debut at ÍA and also played for Feyenoord Rotterdam, RSC Anderlecht (35), Royal Antwerp FC, Hércules CF, KR and Tindastóll. Pétur Pétursson (bishop)
Pétur Pétursson (3 October 1808 – 15 May 1891) was a prominent political leader in Iceland, eventually becoming the fourth Bishop of Iceland from 1866 to 1889. Biography Pétursson was born in Blönduhlíð, the son of Péturs Péturssonar, a professor in Víðivöllur and his second wife, Thóra Brynjólfsdóttir. He was one of the well-known Víðivalli brothers, the others were Jón Pétursson Supreme Court Judge and Brynjólfur Pétursson, a lawyer. Pétur and his brother Brynjólfur were educated by the Reverend Einar Thorlacius in Goðdölar and later in Eyjafjörður. Jónas Hallgrímsson was their fellow student. He earned a theology degree from the University of Copenhagen in 1834. He served as a pastor at Helgafell and Stedarstaður and a pastor in the Snæfellsnes peninsula. The KNVB Beker (; en, KNVB Cup), branded as the TOTO KNVB Beker for sponsorship reasons, is a competition in the Netherlands organized by the Royal Dutch Football Association (KNVB) since 1898. It was based on the format of the English FA Cup. Outside the Netherlands, it is often referred to as the Dutch Cup. The tournament consists of all teams from the top four tiers of Dutch league football (Eredivisie, Eerste Divisie, Tweede Divisie and Derde Divisie), as well as the 24 semi-finalists (or replacements) of the six KNVB District Cups. The finals of the tournament traditionally takes place in De Kuip, and has been held there every season since the 1989 final.
