Puncak or Puncak Pass (Indonesian for "top" or "peak") is a mountain pass in West Java, Indonesia. The pass connects the city of Bogor and Bandung, and is spread within the regencies of Bogor, Cianjur, and Sukabumi. Puncak Pass is located between Mt. Gede-Pangrango in the south, and the Jonggol Mountains in the north. The highest point of the pass is about 1500 m altitude. Cisarua
Cisarua is a location and district in the Bogor Regency, located in the province of West Java, with a population of 127,096 in 2020. The district is known for its mild climate, tea fields, and extensive views, being located in a rather high altitude. Near the district is a mountain pass known for its villas, hostels, as well as a well-known "heritage" hotel known as the "Puncak Pass", built in 1928. Cisarua is also known due to the relatively high population of the Middle East and the use of Indonesian Arabic as well having a sizeable population of asylum seekers and refugees, mainly coming from Afghanistan and Pakistan, as well as ones coming from parts of Africa, mainly from Sudan, Egypt, and Somalia. Ciawi, Bogor
Ciawi is a district ( Indonesian: ''kecamatan'') in the Bogor Regency, West Java, Indonesia. It neighbors the city of Bogor to its northwest. History When the Bogor Regency was selecting a new regency seat in 1975, Ciawi was considered as an option, but was passed over in favor of Cibinong due to Ciawi being too close to the city proper and may be subject to annexation in the future.
