Prosek (Prague)
Prosek (german: Prossek) is a district and cadastral area in the north of Prague, Czech Republic. It is part of the Prague 9 administrative district and is bordered by Střížkov to the west, Letňany to the north, Vysočany to the south, Libeň to the southwest, and Prague–Kbely Airport Prague–Kbely Airport (Czech: ''letiště Praha–Kbely'') ( ICAO: LKKB) is a military airport located in Kbely, in the northeast municipal district of Prague, Czech Republic. Střížkov (german: Strischkau) is an area of the Czech capital Prague, divided between the districts Prague 8 and Prague 9. Střížkov has 14,297 inhabitants (2015). Letňany
Letňany is an area of Prague, Czech Republic. It was founded in 1307, and became part of Prague in 1968. It has been part of the ''Prague 9'' administrative district since 2001, having previously been in the local government district of ''Prague 18'', and it has its own Cadastral community, cadastral area (also called "Prague 18"). It has become one of the richest districts in Prague. There is a large shopping mall, "Obchodní centrum Letňany", which has a shopping area in excess of 125,000 m2. Letňany was the site of the aircraft industry (Avia and Letov Kbely, Letov), but as the industry gradually declined Letňany became a mostly residential district. Vysočany (German: Wissotschan) is a part of Prague in the Prague 9 administrative district (partly in Prague 3), Czech Republic. It lays in the eastern part of Prague around the valley with Rokytka river. Prague–Kbely Airport
Prague–Kbely Airport (Czech: ''letiště Praha–Kbely'') ( ICAO: LKKB) is a military airport located in Kbely, in the northeast municipal district of Prague, Czech Republic. Once Prague's principal airport, it is now used mainly as a military base for the Czech Air Force. Kbely airfield is no longer used as a front-line Czech Air Force base, but it is utilised by military transport aircraft of the Czech Air Force, and the VIP aircraft which are used to transport Czech politicians. Prague Aviation Museum is also located at this airport, with a collection that includes 275 aircraft. Kbely Airport is very close to Letňany Airport, located to the northwest, which has two green runways and is used these days as a venue for air shows and other events.
