Prasarana Malaysia Berhad (Prasarana) (English: Malaysian Infrastructure Limited) is a 100% government-owned company which was set up by Ministry of Finance (Malaysia) as a corporate body established under the Minister of Finance (Incorporation) Act 1957 to own the assets of multi-modal public transport operator in Malaysia, under the government's move to restructure the city's public transport system. It is one of the largest public-transport companies in Malaysia other than Konsortium Transnasional Berhad. As a government-owned company since 1998, it operates stage bus and light metro services via several wholly owned subsidiaries. Butterworth, Penang
Butterworth is the largest urban town in the city of Seberang Perai, Penang, Malaysia. It lies about east of George Town, the capital city of Penang, across the Penang Strait. , Butterworth has a total population of 107,591 residents. Touch 'n Go
The Touch 'n Go smart card is used by Malaysian toll expressway and highway operators as the sole electronic payment system (EPS). The credit card-sized smart card is made of plastic with Philips' MIFARE Classic microchip technology embedded in it. It is a one company monopoly system that you must use this card as long as you need to pass through the highway, take public transportation, etc in Malaysia. The card has an expiry date and inactive period. Check carefully as the Inactive card of not using for more than 12 months, cannot be reactivated. MyRapid Card
The My Rapid Touch 'n Go is a contactless smart card used for the payment of public transportation fares of Rapid KL services in Malaysia, with limited use in the parking payments for Rapid KL Park N Ride facilities. Introduced in July 2011, it is extended to LRT Sri Petaling Line and LRT Kelana Jaya Line in November 2011 as well as Monorail Line in February 2012. Rapid Kuantan buses in Pahang adopted the MyRapid card in 2015. Abolition The My Rapid card was initially planned to be also accepted on the MRT Sungai Buloh-Kajang Line once the Semantan-Kajang stretch opens. Rapid KL (styled as ''rapidKL'') is a public transportation system owned by Prasarana Malaysia and operated by its subsidiaries Rapid Rail and Rapid Bus. With its coverage throughout Kuala Lumpur and Klang Valley areas, it was followed by a federal government restructuring of public transport systems in Kuala Lumpur after the bankruptcy of STAR and PUTRA Light Rapid Transit operators, the precursors to the Ampang/Sri Petaling Lines and Kelana Jaya Line respectively.
