''Power'' is a 2016 Indian Bengali-language action comedy film directed by Rajiv Kumar Biswas. The soundtrack of the film is composed by Jeet Gannguli. It features Jeet, Sayantika Banerjee and Nusrat Jahan in lead roles. It is a remake of the 2014 Telugu film ''Power'' starring Ravi Teja. Plot The plot is about a man who was the look-alike of an honest police officer in his previous life, is eager to join the police. He gets the opportunity, and what follows next is a thrilling ride of comedy with Kharaj, and action along with a flashback to his previous life, which was thought to be another person altogether. Sumit Ganguly is a professor of political science at Indiana University and currently holds that University's Rabindranath Tagore Chair in Indian Cultures and Civilizations, focusing on comparative politics in South Asia.
