Porfirio Fisac
Porfirio Fisac de Diego (born January 24, 1965) is a Spanish basketball coach for Basket Zaragoza, Casademont Zaragoza of the Liga ACB. He was the head coach of the Senegal national basketball team, Senegalese national team, participant at the AfroBasket 2017. Coaching career Born in Fuenterrebollo, Province of Segovia, Segovia, Castile and León, the first sporting success of Fisac arrived in 2002, by promoting CB Tarragona to the LEB Oro, LEB league. He would repeat promotion two years later with CB Ciudad de Algeciras, Ciudad de Algeciras. In 2004, Fisac signed with San Sebastián Gipuzkoa BC, Gipuzkoa BC, again in the LEB Plata, LEB 2 league (third tier). In his first season, despite finishing as regular season winners, he could not achieve a new promotion due to being eliminated in the quarterfinals by CB 1939 Canarias, CB Canarias. Liga ACB
The Liga ACB, known as Liga Endesa for sponsorship reasons, is the top professional basketball division of the Spanish basketball league system. Administrated by the Asociación de Clubs de Baloncesto (ACB), Liga ACB is contested by 18 teams, with the two lowest-placed teams relegated to the LEB Oro and replaced by the top team in that division plus the winner of the promotion playoffs. The competition was founded as the ACB Primera División on 1983 following the decision of clubs in the Liga Nacional, founded in 1957, to break away from the Spanish Basketball Federation and professionalize the league. The 2015–16 LEB Oro season was the 20th season of the Spanish basketball second league LEB Oro. The season started on October 2 and ended on May 27 with the last game of the promotion playoffs finals.
