Polson, Montana
Polson (Salish-Spokane-Kalispel language, Montana Salish: nčmqnétkʷ, Kutenai language, Kutenai: kwataqnuk) is a city in Lake County, Montana, Lake County, Montana, United States, on the southern shore of Flathead Lake. Polson Airport is a public use airport in Lake County, Montana, United States. It is located one nautical mile (2  km) west of the central business district of Polson, a city on the southern shore of Flathead Lake. The airport is owned by the City of Polson and Lake County. It is included in the National Plan of Integrated Airport Systems for 2011–2015, which categorized it as a ''general aviation'' facility. Facilities and aircraft Polson Airport covers an area of 97 acres (39 ha) at an elevation of 2,941 feet (896 m) above mean sea level. It has one asphalt paved runway designated 18/36 which measures 4,195 by 75 feet (1,279 x 23 m). It also has a seaplane landing area designated 3W/21W with a water surface measuring 4,000 by 500 feet (1,219 x 152 m). Polson (brand)
Polson is the name of a dairy products brand that was started in India by Pestonjee Eduljee in 1915 in Mumbai. Polson's first dairy was set up in Anand, Gujarat at the cost of in 1930. History Before Polson dairy was started, housewives in India used to buy butter and milk from the milkmen directly. First, when Polson dairy started out, it had to employ non-Indian staff initially. During World War I it supplied Polson Butter and Polson's Pure coffee to British Indian and American forces. At its peak, it was producing up to 5 tons of butter every day and to meet the demands of the forces as a result of which a new factory office was started in Bombay. Polson was known to let its cream sour for a few days and that stale cream was then heavily salted and processed to make butter. This is the reason why a rival brand Amul's butter made of fresh cream flopped in the market because consumers were too used to Polson's taste. Polson Pier
Polson Pier, previously known as The Docks Waterfront Entertainment Complex (or simply The Docks), is a multi-purpose entertainment complex in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. It is located in the largely industrial Port Lands area of the city along the waterfront of Toronto Harbour. The site is also home to an amusement area, with facilities for swimming, beach volleyball, and a driving range. Until 2019, the site was also the only place in downtown Toronto to have go-karts which has since closed permanently after failing to renew its contract from the landlord and Polson Pier. Polson Pier is also home of the Rebel (formerly Sound Academy), a concert hall-nightclub. From 1999 to 2017 the site was converted into a drive-in theater at sunset. It was the only drive-in movie theatre in downtown Toronto. Open on summer weekends, the drive-in could accommodate up to 1200 people and 500 vehicles.
