Peter Polansky
Peter Polansky ( ; born June 15, 1988) is a Canadian professional tennis player of Czech origin. He was Canada's top singles player from June 21, 2010, until January 17, 2011, in the ATP rankings. He was also Canada's No. 2 from August 4, 2008, until June 21, 2010, with the exception of one week. In 2018, he became the first player in the Open Era to qualify for all four Grand Slam tournaments as a lucky loser within the same calendar year. He is currently coaching fellow Canadian Denis Shapovalov while on a hiatus from competing professionally. Personal Polansky ( cz, Polanský) was born in North York, Ontario, Canada. Polansky survived a major scare as an 18-year-old. While in Mexico for a Davis Cup tie as a team hitting partner, he woke up sleepwalking and jumped or fell from a three-story room suffering serious injuries. 2018 French Open
The 2018 French Open was a Grand Slam (tennis), major tennis tournament played on outdoor clay courts. It took place at the Stade Roland Garros in Paris, France, from 27 May to 10 June and consisted of events for players in singles, doubles and mixed doubles play. The Grand Slam in tennis is the achievement of winning all four major championships in one discipline in a calendar year, also referred to as the "Calendar-year Grand Slam" or "Calendar Slam". In doubles, a team may accomplish the Grand Slam playing together or a player may achieve it with different partners. The 2006 Canadian Open (also known as the 2006 Rogers Masters and 2006 Rogers Cup for sponsorship reasons) was a tennis tournament played on outdoor hard courts. Frank Dancevic
Frank Russell Dancevic ( ; sr, Френк Расел Данчевић, Frenk Rasel Dančević, ; born September 26, 1984) is a retired Canadian professional tennis player. He first became the country's top singles tennis, singles player, according to ATP rankings, on February 10, 2003, as an 18-year-old, and remained so from January 30, 2006 until June 20, 2010. Dancevic has reached two ATP singles finals (Atlanta Open (tennis), Indianapolis and Eastbourne International, Eastbourne), the quarterfinals of the 2007 Rogers Masters – Singles, 2007 Montreal Masters and achieved a career-high singles ranking of world No. 65 in September 2007. Adil Shamasdin ( ; born May 23, 1982) is a Canadians, Canadian professional tennis player who specialises in doubles. He reached his highest doubles ranking of world No. 41 on June 26, 2017. Tennis career Shamasdin's junior career saw him finish ranked No. 5 in singles and No. 1 in doubles in Canada. The ATP Challenger Tour, known until the end of 2008 as the ATP Challenger Series, is a series of international men's professional tennis tournaments. The Challenger Tour events are the second-highest tier of tennis competition, behind the ATP Tour. The ITF World Tennis Tour tournaments are on the entry-level of international professional tennis competition. The ATP Challenger Tour is administered by the Association of Tennis Professionals. Granby, Quebec
Granby is a town in southwestern Quebec, located east of Montreal. The population as of the Canada 2021 Census was 69,025. Granby is the seat of La Haute-Yamaska Regional County Municipality. It is the second most populated city in Estrie after Sherbrooke.
