Peter Johnsson (politician)
Anders Peter Johnsson (born 1962) is a Swedish politician and former member of the Riksdag, the national legislature. A member of the Social Democratic Party, he represented Västra Götaland County North between September 2002 and September 2018. Johnsson is the son of metal worker Sune Oskar Jonsson and bakery worker Britt Inga-Lill Jonsson. He was a grinder at Volvo Hydralic from 1979 to 1980, a sheet metal worker at Uddevallavarvet from 1980 to 1982 and a ventilation sheet metal worker from 1983 to 1987. He has been a sheet metal worker at the Volvo Aero Corporation in Trollhättan since 1987. The Riksdag (, ; also sv, riksdagen or ''Sveriges riksdag'' ) is the legislature and the supreme decision-making body of Sweden. Since 1971, the Riksdag has been a unicameral legislature with 349 members (), elected proportionally and serving, since 1994, fixed four-year terms. Trollhättan Municipality
Trollhättan Municipality (''Trollhättans kommun'' or ''Trollhättans stad'') is a municipality in Västra Götaland County in western Sweden. Its seat is located in the city of Trollhättan. The municipality was created gradually in 1967, 1971 and 1974 during the last local government reform when the ''City of Trollhättan'' (itself instituted in 1916) was amalgamated with surrounding municipalities. The municipality itself prefers to use the denomination ''Trollhättans stad'' (''City of Trollhättan'') for the entire territory, including rural areas. This is purely nominal and has no effect on its status as a unitary municipality. Until 2012 it was the home of the now defunct Saab Automobile. A municipal council ( sv, Kommunfullmäktige) is the decision-making body governing each of the 290 municipalities of Sweden. Västra Götaland County North ( sv, Västra Götalands Läns Norra) is one of the 29 multi-member constituencies of the Riksdag, the national legislature of Sweden. The constituency was established as Älvsborg County North in 1970 when the Riksdag changed from a bicameral legislature to a unicameral legislature. It was renamed Västra Götaland County North in 1998 when the counties of Älvsborg, Gothenburg and Bohus and Skaraborg were merged to create Västra Götaland. Trollhättan () is the 23rd-largest city in Sweden, the seat of Trollhättan Municipality, Västra Götaland County.
