Perelada
Peralada () is a village in the province of Girona, Catalonia, Spain. It was the home of the Frankish Counts of Peralada who controlled this portion of the Marca Hispanica before becoming part of the lands held by the Count of Barcelona. Figueres is 6.5 km to the west, Roses, Girona, Roses 13.6 km to the south east. The N-260 to the south connects Figueres with Portbou and the French border. The local economy is based on tourism, winemaking and dairy farming. Since 1987 a festival of music has been held in Peralada. Celler Peralada
Celler Perelada is an emblematic building in Peralada and state of the art in leaving a minimum environmental impact during winemaking process. It is committed to environmental balance within the DO Empordà (DO), Empordà and the first winery in Europe to receive the golden LEED certificate for Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design. Building and design The Celler Perelada project was undertaken by family Suqué Mateu at a price of 40 million €. with standards aimed at achieving the improvement of the quality of its wines, returning to traditional systems. Marca Hispanica

Peralada Castle
250px, Peralada Castle Peralada Castle ( ca, Castell de Peralada, ) is a castle in Peralada, Catalonia, Spain. It was initially the seat of the medieval dynasty of the viscounts of Peralada, started by Berenguer, son of Ponce I, count of Empúries. During the French invasion of the Empordà, in the course of the crusade against Catalonia led by Philip III of France Philip III (1 May 1245 – 5 October 1285), called the Bold (french: le Hardi), was King of France from 1270 until his death in 1285. Castelló D'Empúries
Castelló d'Empúries is a town and municipality in the Alt Empordà in Girona, Catalonia, Spain. It lies 9 km east of Figueres. In 1079, Castelló d'Empúries became the capital of the Empúries county due to the previous capital, Sant Martí d'Empúries, being too easily sacked by pirates. 1325-1341 saw a period of large expansion of this capital town, which ultimately ceased being the capital once the county joined the Crown of Aragon in 1385. The old town is somewhat dwarfed by the neighboring urbanisation of Empuriabrava, on the coastline of the Costa Brava.
