Perak FA
Perak Football Club or Perak F.C. is a professional football club based in Ipoh. Founded in 1921, the club's home ground since then has been Perak Stadium in Ipoh, Perak. The club represents the state of Perak in Malaysian football competitions. The team is currently playing in the first-tier of Malaysian football, the Malaysia Super League, having been promoted from the Malaysia Premier League after the M-League had been revamped. The club is often simply referred to as Perak. As with most state football clubs in Malaysia, the state football association has traditionally managed the club. However, in 2016, steps were undertaken to differentiate the association from the club. Perak Stadium
The Perak Stadium ( ms, Stadium Perak) is a stadium used mostly for association football located in Kampung Simee in Ipoh, Kinta District, Perak, Malaysia. It is part of a large sports complex called the DBI Sports Complex, which houses a majority of sporting facilities used by players representing the state of Perak such as the Velodrome Rakyat (cycling), Indera Mulia Stadium (indoor stadium) and the Sultan Azlan Shah Stadium (field hockey). Velodrome Rakyat
The Velodrome Rakyat is a velodrome in Ipoh, Malaysia, and was the first velodrome to be built in that country. Tan Sri Dato' Seri Darshan Singh Gill, President of the Perak Cycling Association, identified the need for a velodrome in the country. Previously, the National Cycling Federation used to send track cyclists to neighbouring countries at a very high cost. With the approval of Sultan Azlan Shah of Perak, Darshan led a nationwide public donation drive and collected RM 3.25 million for the project. Velodrome Rakyat is a 250-metre timber track, and has hosted many national and international events, including the World Cycling Championships B in 1997, the Track World Cup in 2000 and 2001, and the cycling events of the 1989 Southeast Asian Games. Yusri bin Che Lah (born 29 April 1976) is a Malaysian football coach and former footballer, who played as a midfielder. He is the current head coach of Malaysia Premier League club Perak. Career Playing Born in Kangar, Perlis, Yusri played and captained for hometown side Perlis in the Malaysia Super League. He was formerly with Selangor, MPPJ and Perak before retiring when he played for his former club, Perlis. He represented Malaysia from 1999 until 2001.
