Payam (administrative Division)
A payam is the second-lowest administrative division, below counties, in South Sudan. Payams are required to have a minimum population of 25000. They are further subdivided into a variable number of '' bomas''. As of 2017, South Sudan has 540 ''payams'' and 2500 ''bomas''. Payam is a village and Grama Panchayat in Iritty taluk of Kannur district in Indian state of Kerala. Demographics As of 2011 Census, Payam village had a population of 15,429 with 7,425 males and 8,004 females. Payam village has an area of with 3,667 families residing in it. Payam Feili (پیام فیلی, born 1985) is an Iranian poet, activist and writer. Biography Payam Feili was born in 1985 in Kermanshah in Iran. He began to write in his early teen years. Feili published his first book – ''The Sun's Platform'' in 2005 at age of nineteen. The book was censored by the Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance. After that, Payam Feili's works have been banned from publication in Iran.
