Palmetto State Armory is an American firearms company based in Columbia, South Carolina. The name derives from South Carolina's official nickname, "The Palmetto State". Palmetto State Armory operates several retail locations around the state of South Carolina, Georgia, and North Carolina. Palmetto State Armory's website sells firearms, tactical equipment, reloading supplies, as well as fishing and hunting equipment. History Jamin McCallum established Palmetto State Armory in 2008 after leaving a career in accounting. Palmetto State Armory began with Jamin selling magazines and ammunition online by fulfilling orders out of his garage. Shortly after, Palmetto State Armory began producing its own firearms, and firearm components. The company now employs more than 200 people and is continuing to grow, with former South Carolina Governor Nikki Haley calling it, "a valued member of South Carolina's thriving business community." Firearms
A firearm is any type of gun designed to be readily carried and used by an individual. The term is legally defined further in different countries (see Legal definitions). Swansea is a town in Lexington County, South Carolina, United States. The population was 827 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Columbia, South Carolina Metropolitan Statistical Area. Geography Swansea is located at . According to the United States Census Bureau, the town has a total area of 1.2 square miles (3.1 km2), of which 1.1 square miles (2.9 km2) is land and 0.1 square mile (0.1 km2) (4.20%) is water. Two streams that flow through Swansea are Fourth Creek and Bull Swamp Creek (with neighboring communities Gaston and North).
