PGA Tour 2K
''PGA Tour 2K'' (originally known as ''The Golf Club'') is a series of golf sports video games developed by HB Studios. The series is currently published by 2K Sports; with Maximum Games publishing the second game in the series. The premise of the series is to emulate the sport of golf, and more specifically, the PGA Tour. History and Development On May 22, 2018, HB Studios reached a license agreement with the PGA Tour to include six TPC courses and a PGA Tour career mode in '' The Golf Club 2019'' video game. The agreement did not include rights to player likenesses, as the PGA Tour maintained an existing license agreement with EA Sports for its own ''PGA Tour'' game series. Although the series had been dormant since the release of ''Rory McIlroy PGA Tour'' in 2015, EA still claimed to have an "ongoing relationship" with the Tour at that time. Later that year, on August 28, 2018, 2K announced that it had acquired the publishing rights to ''The Golf Club'' series under its 2K ...

Sports Game
A sports video game is a video game that simulates the practice of sports. Most sports have been recreated with a game, including team sports, track and field, extreme sports, and combat sports. Some games emphasize actually playing the sport (such as ''FIFA (video game series), FIFA'', ''Pro Evolution Soccer'' and ''Madden NFL''), whilst others emphasize strategy and sport management (such as ''Football Manager'' and ''Out of the Park Baseball''). Some, such as ''Need for Speed'', ''Arch Rivals'' and ''Punch-Out!!'', satirize the sport for comic effect. This genre has been popular throughout the history of video games and is competitive, just like real-world sports. A number of game series feature the names and characteristics of real teams and players, and are updated annually to reflect real-world changes. The sports genre is one of the oldest genres in gaming history. Game design Sports games involve physical and tactical challenges, and test the player's precision and acc ...

K, or k, is the eleventh letter in the Latin alphabet, used in the modern English alphabet, the alphabets of other western European languages and others worldwide. Its name in English is ''kay'' (pronounced ), plural ''kays''. The letter K usually represents the voiceless velar plosive. History The letter K comes from the Greek letter Κ ( kappa), which was taken from the Semitic kaph, the symbol for an open hand. This, in turn, was likely adapted by Semitic tribes who had lived in Egypt from the hieroglyph for "hand" representing /ḏ/ in the Egyptian word for hand, ⟨ ḏ-r-t⟩ (likely pronounced in Old Egyptian). The Semites evidently assigned it the sound value instead, because their word for hand started with that sound. K was brought into the Latin alphabet with the name ''ka'' /kaː/ to differentiate it from C, named ''ce'' (pronounced /keː/) and Q, named ''qu'' and pronounced /kuː/. In the earliest Latin inscriptions, the letters C, K and Q were all used ...

Lemley''Property, Intellectual Property, and Free Riding'', Texas Law Review, 2005, Vol. 83:1031, page 1033, footnote 4. Rory McIlroy PGA Tour
''Rory McIlroy PGA Tour'' is a sports video game developed by EA Tiburon and published by Electronic Arts for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. It is an entry in the EA Sports ''PGA Tour'' franchise, and was the first series since 1999 not to feature Tiger Woods as its namesake, replacing him with Rory McIlroy. The game was re-built from scratch as part of its shift to eighth generation consoles, adopting DICE's Frostbite 3 engine (primarily used for the ''Battlefield'' franchise) due to its graphical fidelity and ability to handle courses as large-scale maps (as opposed to having an individual map for each hole). Additionally, the game introduces new swing modes and assists, Golf Channel personalities and in-game presentation, and an arcade-style challenge mode. ''Rory McIlroy PGA Tour'' received mixed reviews; although critics acknowledged the game's increased graphics quality and realism over previous installments in the franchise, the game was criticized primarily for its regressio ...
