Péter Tóth (born 17 April 1989) is a Hungarian former professional footballer who played as a midfielder. Club career Tóth played with Hungarian sides Újpest, Honvéd, Rákospalota and Zalaegerszeg between 2008 and 2013, before moving to the United States to join USL side Oklahoma City Energy. Ahead of the 2017 season, OKC Energy decided not to extend his contract. International career Tóth has represented Hungary at youth international levels, featuring for the U17s. Budapest Honvéd Football Club (), commonly known as Budapest Honvéd or simply Honvéd, is a Hungarian sports club based in Kispest, Budapest, with the colours of red and black. The NB II, currently known as the Merkantil Bank Liga for sponsorship reasons, is the second tier of Hungarian football. At the end of the 2004–05 season, the tournament format was changed from one division of 14 teams to two divisions: ''Keleti'' (Eastern) and ''Nyugati'' (Western), each with 16 teams, though now it's just one league table with 16 teams as of the 2024–25 season. The Cypriot First Division (), also known as the Cyprus League by Stoiximan for sponsorship reasons, is a professional association football league in Cyprus and the highest level of the Cypriot football league system. The 2009–10 Cypriot First Division was the 71st season of the Cypriot top-level football league. It started on 29 August 2009. APOEL were the defending champions. Competition modus Fourteen teams will participate in the competition. Eleven of them have also competed in the 2008–09 season while the remaining three teams were promoted from the Second Division. Each team will play against every other team twice, once at home and once away, for a total of 26 matches. After these matches, the two teams with the worst records will be relegated to the Second Division. The remaining twelve teams will be divided into three groups of four teams each. The Nemzeti Bajnokság (, ), also known as NB I or Fizz Liga after its title sponsor, OTP Bank's webshop subsidiary, is a professional association football league in Hungary and the highest level of the Hungarian football league system. Twelve teams compete in the league, playing each other three times, once at home, once away, and the third match is played at the stadium that the last match was not played at. At the end of the season, the top team enters the qualification rounds for the UEFA Champions League, while the runner-up and the third place, together with the winner of the Magyar Kupa enter the UEFA Conference League qualification rounds.
