Pål Arne Johansen
Pål Arne Johansen (born 16 February 1977) is a Norwegian professional football manager and former player who played as a midfielder. He was most recently the head coach of Allsvenskan club Häcken. Career Johansen hails from Brønnøy Municipality where he played youth football for Sport-71 and Brønnøysund, and made his senior debut for Brønnøy in 1993. Ahead of the 1994 season, he moved south to attend the Norwegian School of Elite Sport and play youth football for Bærum. His first senior team in Southeast Norway was Fossum, joining 1. divisjon team Lyn in 1998. After barely featuring in their promotion season of 2000, he went on to Ull/Kisa. In 2002, he joined Bærum, but after one season he pursued a coaching career, starting as player-manager of Groruddalen. He also immersed himself in theoretical football studies at the Norwegian School of Sport Sciences, co-writing the book ''Ferdighetsutvikling i fotball'' in 2002. Eliteserien
Eliteserien () is a professional association football league in Norway and the highest level of the Norwegian football league system. Contested by 16 clubs, it operates on a system of promotion and relegation with the Norwegian First Division. Seasons run from March to November with each team playing 30 matches (playing each other home and away). Most games are played on Sunday evenings. Eliteserien was founded in 1937 as Norgesserien (), and the first season was the 1937–38 League of Norway, 1937–38 season. 2019 FIFA U-20 World Cup
The 2019 FIFA U-20 World Cup was the 22nd edition of the FIFA U-20 World Cup, the biennial international men's youth football championship contested by the under-20 national teams of the member associations of FIFA, since its inception in 1977 as the FIFA World Youth Championship. The tournament was hosted by Poland between 23 May and 15 June 2019. 2018 UEFA European Under-19 Championship
The 2018 UEFA European Under-19 Championship (also known as UEFA Under-19 Euro 2018) was the 17th edition of the UEFA European Under-19 Championship (67th edition if the Under-18 and Junior eras are included), the annual international youth football championship organised by UEFA for the men's under-19 national teams of Europe. Finland hosted the final tournament, between 16 and 29 July, after being selected by UEFA on 26 January 2015. A total of eight teams competed in the tournament, with players born on or after 1 January 1999 eligible to participate. Eirik Horneland
Eirik Horneland (born 14 March 1975) is a Norwegian Association football, football manager and former player who is currently the manager of club AS Saint-Étienne, Saint-Étienne. He played as a Defender (association football), defender and spent most of his playing years at SK Vard Haugesund, Vard Haugesund before finishing his career at FK Haugesund, Haugesund. After retiring as a player, Horneland moved into coaching, first as an assistant manager at Haugesund, before becoming the coach of the Norway national under-19 football team. Horneland returned to Haugesund as manager in 2016, where strong league finishes earned him a move to Rosenborg BK, Rosenborg in 2019. 2009 UEFA Women's European Championship
The 2009 UEFA Women's Championship, or just Women's Euro 2009, was played in Finland between 23 August and 10 September 2009. The host was appointed on 11 July 2006, in a UEFA Executive Committee meeting in Berlin and the Finnish proposal won over the Dutch proposal. The UEFA Women's Championship is a regular tournament involving European national teams from countries affiliated to UEFA, the European governing body, who have qualified for the competition. Henning Berg
Henning Stille Berg (; born 1 September 1969) is a Norwegian football manager and former player. He is currently the manager of Omonia. His career lasted from 1988 to 2004, most notably in the Premier League where he won titles with both Blackburn Rovers and Manchester United, becoming the first player to win the Premier League with two clubs. He also played in his native land for Vålerenga and Lillestrøm before finishing his career in the Scottish Premier League with Rangers. He was capped 100 times by Norway, scoring nine goals.
