Putrajaya
Putrajaya (), officially the Federal Territory of Putrajaya (), is the administrative centre of Malaysia. The Seat of government, seat of the Government of Malaysia, federal government of Malaysia was moved in 1999 from Kuala Lumpur to Putrajaya because of overcrowding and congestion, whilst the seat of the judiciary of Malaysia was later moved to Putrajaya in 2003. Kuala Lumpur remains as Malaysia's national capital city per the Constitution of Malaysia, constitution and is still the seat of the Yang di-Pertuan Agong, head of state (Yang di-Pertuan Agong) and the national legislature (Parliament of Malaysia), as well as being the country's commercial and financial centre. Putrajaya International Convention Centre
The Putrajaya International Convention Centre (PICC; ) is a convention centre in Putrajaya, Malaysia. It occupies an area of 135,000 square meters in Precinct 5. The building began construction in 2001 and was completed in September 2003. It is designed by fourth prime minister Mahathir Mohamad to look like the eye of ''pending perak'' (a silver Malay royal belt buckle). The Seri Wawasan Bridge is one of the main bridges in the planned city Putrajaya, the new (2001) Malaysian federal territory and administrative centre. This futuristic asymmetric cable-stayed bridge with a forward-inclined pylon has a sailing ship appearance, accented at night with changeable color lighting. The Perdana Putra ( Jawi: ) is a building in Putrajaya, Malaysia which houses the office complex of the Prime Minister of Malaysia. Located on the main hill in Putrajaya, it has become synonymous with the executive branch of the Malaysian federal government. History Construction began in 1997 and was completed in early 1999. Tuanku Mizan Zainal Abidin Mosque
The Tuanku Mizan Zainal Abidin Mosque (; Jawi: ) or the Iron Mosque () is the second principal mosque in Putrajaya, Malaysia after Putra Mosque. It is located in Putrajaya's Precinct 3, opposite the Palace of Justice and next to Islamic Complex Putrajaya, a religious authority headquarters.
