Dina Deliwe Pule (born 19 July 1960) is a South African politician who represents the African National Congress (ANC) in the National Assembly of South Africa. She has been the Deputy Secretary-General of the ANC Women's League since July 2023. Before that, she was Minister of Communications under President Jacob Zuma from October 2011 to July 2013. Born in Mpumalanga, Pule first held public office as a member of the Mpumalanga Provincial Legislature for a single term between 2004 and 2009. During that period, she held several portfolios as a Member of the Executive Council under former Premier Thabang Makwetla. Hermano Pule
Apolinario de la Cruz (July 22, 1815 – November 4, 1841), better known as Hermano Pule (, Spanish for "Brother Pule"; also spelled Hermano Puli), was a Filipino religious leader who founded and led the ''Cofradía de San José'' ( Confraternity of Saint Joseph). The ''cofradía'' was established in 1832 in response to the racially discriminatory practices of the Catholic Church in the Philippines. During the Spanish colonial period, Catholic religious orders refused to admit native Filipinos as members. In retaliation, Pule established his own religious order that was exclusive for native Filipinos. During its peak, the ''cofradía'' had 4,500 to 5,000 members from the provinces of Tayabas, Batangas, and Laguna. Fearing an armed rebellion, the Spanish colonial government sent military forces to suppress the ''cofradía'', an attack that was resisted by Hermano Pule and his followers on October 23, 1841. Jabu Jeremiah Mahlangu (born Jabu Jeremiah Pule on 11 July 1980) is a former South African association football midfielder. Club career South Africa Pule's first club was Kaizer Chiefs, where his contract was terminated in 2004 due to unprofessional conduct. He began trials for SV Mattersburg in Austria, but after eight months, he was asked to leave the club after crashing his car while under the influence of alcohol. Twice sent to a rehabilitation clinic to overcome his problems with drinking and drugs, Pule was sacked by SuperSport United in late 2005 after missing several training sessions. Tuiloma Pule Alaimoana Unasa Lameko Gae’e (6 July 1935 – 1 April 2018) was a Samoan politician and Cabinet Minister. He was a member of the Human Rights Protection Party. Lameko was born in Falealili. Initially educated at a free church school, he later attended Poutasi Primary School. He gained entry to Avele School using a younger cousin's birth certificate, as he was too old to attend. He briefly attended Samoa College and a teachers training college, but in both cases left due to inability to pay fees. While working as a cashier, he took night classes to train as an accountant. He worked for the Treasury Department, then after serving a secondment to the International Monetary Fund in 1975 was appointed the first manager of the Samoa Shipping Corporation in 1976.
