Puerto Cortés Airstrip
Puerto Cortés Airstrip is the military dirt airstrip of Puerto Cortés Naval Base, located on the East side of Isla Santa Margarita, on the coast of Magdalena Bay, in the Mexican state of Baja California Sur. Isla Margarita is a Pacific Ocean island, located to the West of the Baja California Peninsula, and belongs politically to the municipality of Comondú. Puerto Cortés Naval Base is handled by the Mexican Navy and is the center of a Military Naval Sector that depends from the 2nd Military Naval Region in Ensenada, BC. Comondú Municipality
Comondú is a municipality in the Mexican state of Baja California Sur. It had a population of 73,021 inhabitants in 2020. With a land area of 16,318.6 km2 (7,072.9 sq mi), it is the seventh-largest municipality in area in Mexico. The municipal seat is located in Ciudad Constitución. The Spanish missions of San José de Comondú and San Luis Gonzaga are located in this municipality. Ensenada, Baja California
Ensenada ("inlet") is a city in Ensenada Municipality, Baja California, situated on the Pacific Coast of Mexico. Puerto Cortés
Puerto Cortés, originally known as Puerto de Caballos, is a port city and municipality on the north Caribbean coast of Honduras, right on the Laguna de Alvarado, north of San Pedro Sula and east of Omoa, with a natural bay. The present city was founded in the early colonial period. It grew rapidly in the twentieth century, thanks to the then railroad, and banana production.
