''Psychédélices'' (English language, English: "Psych-delights") is the third studio album by French singer Alizée, released in Mexico on 23 November 2007 by RCA Records, and subsequently released on 3 December 2007 in European Union, European regions, such as France, Belgium, and Switzerland, Swtizerland. It was the first album without collaboration and supervision by Mylène Farmer and Laurent Boutonnat. The album showcases themes of freedom, Reinventing the wheel, reinvention, love, Hesitation, rebellion, and personal identity, reflecting her shift toward a more mature and independent artistic persona. The lyrics move away from the Sense, coy sensuality of her earlier work and dive into more Experimental music, experimental, Introspection, introspective, and playful territories. Upon release, the album achieved commendable commercial success across various countries. Alizée
Alizée Lyonnet ( Jacotey; born 21 August 1984), known professionally as Alizée, is a French pop singer. She is one of the best-selling French female artists of the 21st century, and the singer with the most exports out of France. Her best-known single is 2000's " Moi... Lolita", which reached number one in Italy and Spain. Born and raised in Ajaccio, Corsica, Alizée's first public appearance was her winning performance in the talent show '' Graines de star'' in 1999. While collaborating with Mylène Farmer and Laurent Boutonnat, she followed it with a series of albums that attained popularity by pushing the boundaries of lyrical content in mainstream popular music and imagery in her music videos, which became a fixture on NRJ, MTV, Virgin Radio, Europe 1, among others.
