Prospect Hummer
Prospect Hummer is an Extended play, EP by Animal Collective released in May 2005. It is an accompaniment to ''Sung Tongs''. On a Europe tour in the middle of 2004, the group was introduced to the British folk singer Vashti Bunyan in Edinburgh, Scotland, by Kieran Hebden (Four Tet). Bunyan finally contributed vocals to all of the songs except for "Baleen Sample". Avey Tare, Panda Bear and Deakin are present throughout the entire EP; Geologist, who could not join the tour because of his dayjob, is featured only on the song "Baleen Sample". Animal Collective
Animal Collective is an American experimental pop band formed in Baltimore, Maryland. Its members consist of Avey Tare (David Portner), Panda Bear (Noah Lennox), Geologist (Brian Weitz), and Deakin (Josh Dibb). ''Lookaftering'' is the second studio album by Vashti Bunyan. It was released via FatCat Records on October 17, 2005. It is the follow-up to 1970's '' Just Another Diamond Day''. Reception At Metacritic, which assigns a weighted average score out of 100 to reviews from mainstream critics, ''Lookaftering'' received an average score of 85% based on 21 reviews, indicating "universal acclaim". Thom Jurek of AllMusic gave the album 4 stars out of 5, calling it "a gorgeously considered, stunningly and sensitively crafted album by an artist who is truly outside of all fashion, all time, and even space." Rusty Santos is a record producer and musician based in Los Angeles. He is known for producing, recording, mixing and/or mastering records like Animal Collective’s '' Sung Tongs'' and the reissue of '' Danse Manatee'', Panda Bear’s ''Person Pitch'', Born Ruffians’ '' Red, Yellow & Blue'', Owen Pallett's '' Heartland'' & '' In Conflict'', DJ Rashad's '' Welcome to the Chi'', Dawn of Midi's " Dysnomia", and many more. Noah Lennox
Noah Benjamin Lennox (born July 17, 1978), also known by his moniker Panda Bear, is an American musician, singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, and co-founding member of the band Animal Collective. In addition to his work with that group, Lennox has released six solo LPs since 1999, with his influential 2007 album ''Person Pitch'' inspiring numerous subsequent acts. His subsequent albums ''Tomboy'' (2011) and '' Panda Bear Meets the Grim Reaper'' (2015) both reached the ''Billboard'' 200. Lennox was primarily raised in Baltimore, Maryland, where he sang tenor in his high school chamber choir, and studied piano and cello. Joshua Caleb Dibb (born January 6, 1978), also known by his moniker Deakin, is an American musician who co-founded the experimental pop band Animal Collective. He is the most infrequent member of the collective appearing on only six of the group's eleven studio albums. In 2016, he made his solo debut with the album '' Sleep Cycle''. David Michael Portner (born April 24, 1979), also known by his moniker Avey Tare, is a musician and songwriter who co-founded the American experimental pop band Animal Collective. He has released three solo albums, as well as three collaborative albums with Panda Bear (Noah Lennox) which were later retroactively classified under Animal Collective's discography.
