Progress 1
Progress 1 (Russian: ''Прогресс 1''), was a Soviet unmanned Progress cargo spacecraft which was launched in 1978 to resupply the Salyut 6 space station. It was the maiden flight of the Progress spacecraft, and used the Progress 7K-TG configuration. It carried supplies for the EO-1 crew aboard Salyut 6, which consisted of Soviet cosmonauts Yuri Romanenko and Georgy Grechko. The cargo carried by Progress 1 also included equipment for conducting scientific research, and fuel for adjusting the station's orbit and performing manoeuvres. Spacecraft Progress 1 was a Progress 7K-TG spacecraft. The first of forty three to be launched, it had the serial number 102. The Progress 7K-TG spacecraft was the first generation Progress, derived from the Soyuz 7K-T and intended for unmanned logistics missions to space stations in support of the Salyut programme. Salyut 6
Salyut 6 () was a Soviet orbital space station, the eighth station of the Salyut programme, and alternatively known DOS-5 as it was the fifth of the Durable Orbital Station series of civilian space stations. It was launched on 29 September 1977 by a Proton rocket. Salyut 6 was the first space station to receive large numbers of crewed and uncrewed spacecraft for human habitation, crew transfer, international participation and resupply, establishing precedents for station life and operations which were enhanced on Mir and the International Space Station. Salyut 6 was the first "second generation" space station, representing a major breakthrough in capabilities and operational success. The ''Salyut'' programme (, , meaning "salute" or "fireworks") was the first space station programme, undertaken by the Soviet Union. It involved a series of four crewed scientific research space stations and two crewed military reconnaissance space stations over a period of 15 years, from 1971 to 1986. This is a list of uncrewed spaceflights to the Salyut space stations. The list includes Soyuz 34, which was launched uncrewed but landed crewed, however it does not include Soyuz 32, which was launched crewed, but landed uncrewed. List Of Progress Missions
This is a list of missions conducted by Progress automated spacecraft. Progress is an uncrewed Russian (previously Soviet) cargo spacecraft which has been used since 1978 to deliver supplies to Soviet space stations Salyut 6, Salyut 7, Mir, and later to the International Space Station. All launches have occurred from the Baikonur Cosmodrome. More than 178 flights have been launched, all except Progress M-12M, Progress M-27M and Progress MS-04/65P have reached their destinations, with no injuries or loss of life after launch; Progress M-12M and MS-04 failed during launch, whereas Progress M-27M experienced a spacecraft loss of attitude control while in orbit. Orbital inclination measures the tilt of an object's orbit around a celestial body. Soyuz 27
Soyuz 27 (, ''Union 27'') was a 1978 Soviet crewed spacecraft which flew to the orbiting Salyut 6 space station, during the mission EP-1.
