Prithvi Shaw
Prithvi Pankaj Shaw (; born 9 November 1999) is an Indian cricketer who has played for the Indian cricket team in all formats. In domestic cricket, he plays for Mumbai and has previously represented Delhi Capitals and Northamptonshire. Under his captaincy, the Indian team won the 2018 Under-19 World Cup in New Zealand. A right-handed opening batter, Shaw made his first international appearance aged 18 on 4 October 2018 and became the second-youngest Indian after Sachin Tendulkar to make a Test century and the youngest Indian to do so on Test debut. Shaw made his first-class debut for Mumbai in the semi-finals of the 2016β17 Ranji Trophy on 1 January 2017. He scored a century in the second innings and was man of the match. The Indian menβs national under-19 cricket team represents India in cricket at Under-19 level. The team has won five Under-19 World Cups and has the best win percentage in ODIs among all Under-19 national teams. The Duleep Trophy, is a domestic First Class Cricket competition played in India. Named after former cricketer Duleepsinhji, the competition has largely been contested by teams representing various geographical zones of India since the first edition in 1961β62, with some editions featuring special invitee teams. The 2016β17 Ranji Trophy was the 83rd season of the Ranji Trophy, the premier first-class cricket tournament in India. Unlike previous seasons, the 2016β17 tournament was played at neutral venues.
