Primera División A Clausura 2009
The Primera División A Clausura 2009 is a Mexican football tournament, the second of two short tournaments held during the 2008–2009 Mexican football season. It began on January 10, 2009 and will run until May 23 or May 24, 2009. The winner of the tournament will earn a place in the promotional playoff against Querétaro, the winners of the '' Apertura 2008'' tournament, to determine which team will be promoted to the '' Primera División''. Tournament format A total of 27 teams are divided into three groups of nine teams each. Each team plays the other eight teams in its group twice, once at home and once away, for a total of 16 games. At the end of the regular season the top two teams in each group, as well as the next two highest placed teams, qualify to the ''Liguilla'' (playoffs). The teams are seeded based on their position in the general table and are arranged before each round so that the highest seeded team remaining always plays the lowest seed remaining. The teams pl ... Neza Fútbol Club is a Mexican football club based in the city of Nezahualcóyotl, State of Mexico, that plays in the Liga de Balompié Mexicano. Founded in 1991 as Toros UTN, then the club was moved to Pachuca, Hidalgo and played the 1993–94 season as Toros Hidalgo, the following year changed its name to Toros Neza. After the club's dissolution in 2002, the club returned under its current name in 2011. Petroleros de Salamanca C.F.C. is a Mexican football club based in Salamanca, Guanajuato, México which is playing in the Liga Premier de México. History The club was founded in the 1950s and soon after, in 1958, the club joined the Segunda División de México and played under the name of Mapaches. The club played in the second division until 1961 when the club folded due to economic problems. In 1964 the club rejoined the second division; this time the club was owned by a local oil company which brought in big name players but never achieved a promotion to the first division. Sosyo is an Indian carbonated drink, produced and marketed mainly in the western and northern states of India; Gujarat, Maharashtra, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh and Madhya Pradesh. Primera División A ''(Méxican First A Division)'' Clausura 2008 is a Méxican association football, football tournament – one of two tournaments held in one year. It began Friday, January 11, 2008. Reigning champions Indios de Ciudad Juárez, Indios could not defend their title, as Club León wins their 3rd title in Primera División A, and earned the right to battle Indios in a two-leg aggregate to try to earn promotion to the Primera División de México. In the 1st leg, which was played at Estadio Olímpico Benito Juárez, Indios defeated León by a score of 1–0. In the 2nd leg at Estadio León resulted in a 2–2 tie, hence earning Indios a spot into the Primera División.
