Cēsis Municipality () is a Administrative divisions of Latvia, municipality in Vidzeme region of Latvia. The town of Cēsis is the administrative centre of the municipality. As of 2021, the region had a population of 41,161 inhabitants, making it the sixth most populated of the 36 municipalities in the country. Cēsis
Cēsis (; (, , , ) is a town in Latvia located in the northern part of the Central Vidzeme Upland. Cēsis is on the Gauja River valley, and is built on a series of ridges above the river, overlooking the woods below. The Köppen climate classification divides Earth climates into five main climate groups, with each group being divided based on patterns of seasonal precipitation and temperature.
