Premio Ojo Crítico
The Critical Eye Awards () were created in 1990 by the Radio Nacional de España (RNE) program ''El Ojo Crítico''. They recognize and promote the work of young talents, under 40 years of age, who have distinguished themselves in the preceding year in the modalities of plastic arts, narrative, poetry, film, theater, classical music, modern music, and dance. Since 1997, RNE has also presented the Special Critical Eye Award for an outstanding career. The Ibero-American Critical Eye Award has been presented biennially since 2014. Lorenzo Silva
Lorenzo Manuel Silva Amador (born 7 June 1966 in Carabanchel, Madrid) is a Spanish award-winning writer. After earning a law degree at the Complutense University of Madrid, Universidad Complutense of Madrid, he worked as a lawyer from 1992 to 2002. He has written stories, articles and literary essays, but he is recognised primarily for his novels. One such novel, ''El alquimista impaciente'', won the Nadal Prize in 2000, and has been filmed by the director Patricia Ferrera, premiering in 2002. Felipe Benítez Reyes (born 1960) is a prolific Spanish writer. He was born in Rota, Cadiz, where he lives to this day. Biography He studied at the University of Cádiz and University of Seville. His literary output spans multiple genres, including poetry, novels, short stories, essays, and opinion pieces. Reyes' poetry has won, among others, the Premio de la Crítica and the Premio Nacional de Literatura. Both were awarded for his 1995 collection ''Vidas improbables''. Miquel de Palol i Muntanyola (born April 2, 1953) is a Catalan architect, poet and storyteller, son of the archaeologist Pere de Palol. In 2011 he was appointed president of the Associació d'Escriptors en Llengua Catalana, Association of Collegiate Writers of Catalonia. Pedro Zarraluki
Pedro Zarraluki (31 December 1954 – 1 March 2025) was a Spanish writer. Life and career Zarraluki was born in Barcelona on 31 December 1954. He published his first book at the age of 20 and wrote several novels and short story collections thereafter. He won numerous prizes, including the Premio Nadal for his novel ''Un encargo difícil'', and the Premio Herralde for ''La historia del silencio''.
