Predrag Materić
Predrag Materić ( sr-Cyrl, Предраг Матерић; born 12 June 1977) is a Serbian–French sports agent and former professional basketball player who serves as a vice-president at BeoBasket. Playing career Materić played college basketball for the UConn Huskies, Barton Cougars, and UAB Blazers. A swingman, Materić spent his professional career with Olimpia Milano, BCM Gravelines, S.S. Felice Scandone, Dinamo Sassari, Gymnastikos S. Larissas 1928, Le Havre, Partizan, Hemofarm, P.A.O.K., CSU Asesoft Ploiești, and Mega Ishrana. He retired as a professional player with Mega Ishrana in 2006. Serbs in France (; ) or French Serbs (; ), number around 62,740 according to estimations. YUBA League
The YUBA League was the top-tier men's professional basketball league in Serbia and Montenegro (previously FR Yugoslavia). Founded in 1992 and folded in 2006, it was run by the Basketball Federation of Serbia and Montenegro. The name ''YUBA League'' (Yugoslav Basketball Association League) was used in Serbia and Montenegro until 2006. It consisted of the first-stage "First League", and the second-stage "Super League", with each having their own men's and women's divisions. The FIBA EuroCup Challenge was the 4th-tier level transnational professional continental club basketball competition in Europe, organised by FIBA Europe. However, it was Europe's 3rd-tier level club basketball competition in its inaugural 2002–03 season. The competition was founded in 2003, following a conflict between FIBA Europe and ULEB during the 2001–02 season, as an attempt by FIBA to expand their secondary tournament held during the previous season, the FIBA Europe Regional Challenge Cup, by merging it with the FIBA Europe Champions Cup.
