Preben von Ahnen (18 September 1606 – 15 November 1675) was a Norwegian civil servant and landowner. Biography Preben von Ahnen was born on the island of Rügen, off the Pomeranian coast in the Baltic Sea. He was a son of Pomeranian nobleman Staffen von Ahnen (born ) and nephew of Claus von Ahnen ( 1560–1628), who was a bailiff of Sem, Norway, Sem in Tønsberg in Vestfold and Eiker in Buskerud. He was the father of Iver von Ahnen (1659–1722), a Norwegian military officer who served as Governor of Romsdal. Preben von Ahnen became a sizable landowner as a result of his two marriages. From his first marriage to Else Urne (1595–1643), he acquired ''Dønnesgodset på Helgeland'', an extensive estate located along the coast of Nordland. Preben Elkjær
Preben Elkjær Larsen (; born 11 September 1957) is a Danish former professional footballer who played as a striker. Amongst others, he played with Hellas Verona in Italy, helping the club to the only major title of its history, the 1985 Serie A. Additionally, Elkjær scored 38 goals for the Denmark national team in 11 years, being a leading figure for the Danish side under coach Sepp Piontek that played at the Euro 1984 and the 1986 World Cup (a first-ever appearance), often hailed as the golden generation of Danish football by their countrymen. Elkjær won the Bronze Ball award at the latter competition. Eilert Waldemar Preben Ramm (4 May 1769 – 15 March 1837) was a Norwegian military officer and representative at the Norwegian Constitutional Assembly in 1814. Preben Hempel Munthe (15 October 1922 – 3 January 2013) was a Norwegian economist. He was born in Aker, the son of librarian Wilhelm Munthe (1883–1965) and his wife Jenny Hempel (1882–1975). Gerhard Munthe was his elder brother. The younger Munthe finished his secondary education in 1941, and graduated from the University of Oslo with the cand.oecon. degree five years later. He was employed as a research fellow at the Norwegian School of Economics and Business Administration in the following year, and was promoted to docent in 1956. He took his doctorate in 1961, and was a professor at the University of Oslo from 1961 to 1992. Parallel to this he served as the State Conciliator of Norway from 1965 to 1974.
