Pratap Jena () is an Indian politician and a former Cabinet Minister in the Sixteenth Odisha Legislative Assembly, holding portfolios in Panchayati Raj & Drinking Water, Law, Housing & Urban Development (2019–2022). He has been elected as Member of the Legislative Assembly (India), MLA from Mahanga Assembly constituency, Mahanga for five consecutive terms and serves as the General Secretary of the ''Biju Krushak Janata Da''l, the farmers' wing of the Biju Janata Dal. Previously, he held key ministerial positions, including Minister of School and Mass Education (2009–2012) and Minister of Health & Family Welfare, Law, and I&PR (2017–2019). Biju Patnaik
Bijayananda Patnaik (5 March 1916 – 17 April 1997) was an Indian politician and aviator. He served as the 3rd Chief Minister of the State of Odisha from 1961 to 1963 and from 1990 to 1995. He was also the 14th Steel and mines and 1st Coal Union Minister of India from 1979 to 1980 and from 1977 to 1979 and a member of Lok Sabha from Kendrapara from 1977 to 1985. He is the father of Naveen Patnaik, also a former CM of Odisha. Early life Biju Patnaik was born in an aristocratic Karan family. His parents lived in Ghumusar Nuagam, Bellaguntha, Ganjam district, around 80 km from Bramhapur. The then Bengal Presidency was a vast province including present day Assam, Bihar, Jharkhand, Odisha and West Bengal. Biju Swastya Kalyan Yojana
Biju Swasthya Kalyana Jojana (ବିଜୁ ସ୍ବାସ୍ଥ୍ୟ କଲ୍ୟାଣ ଯୋଜନା) is a universal health coverage scheme launched by Chief Minister of Odisha, Naveen Patnaik as BSKJ in 2017. It is more effective than Ayushman Jojana hence when Ayushman was launched one year later in 2018 it was not implemented in Odisha. Naveen Patnaik (; born 16 October 1946) is an Indian politician and writer, who served as the 14th List of Chief Ministers of Odisha, Chief Minister of Odisha from 5 March 2000 to 12 June 2024.
