Power Dynamos F.C.
Power Dynamos is a Zambian professional football club based in Kitwe that plays in the MTN/FAZ Super Division. They play their home games at Arthur Davies Stadium in Kitwe. The club is currently sponsored by Copperbelt Energy Corporation. Power Dynamos is known for playing beautiful passing football and their matches are usually enjoyed by the Zambian Premier League fans. Their main rivals are Nkana FC and Zesco United FC. Games involving Power Dynamos and any of these two clubs are always highly attended by the soccer fans. In 1991, Power Dynamos became the first southern African club, and so far, the only Zambian club, to win a continental trophy after they won the African Cup Winners' Cup. Arthur Davies Stadium
Arthur Davies Stadium is a multi-use stadium in Kitwe, Zambia, named after Arthur Walter Davies who was a FIFA-accredited referee and active member of the Zambian FA. Whilst General Manager of the Copperbelt Power Corporation (now the Copperbelt Energy Corporation) which was based in Kitwe, he established the Power Dynamos F.C. and the stadium. The stadium has an eight-lane running track and incorporates a main front building which houses a presidential suite, a large conference room, offices, a gymnasium, a clinic, physiotherapy room, a police post and a club-house. Aaron Katebe
Aaron Katebe (born 24 January 1992) is a Zambian footballer who currently playing for Power Dynamos in the Zambia Super League as a defender. Club career Born in Chililabombwe, near the Congolese border, Katebe began his career with Afrisports FC. As a youth player he was groomed by the Afrisports coaches who had previously had success with youth players such as Stoppila Sunzu and Rainford Kalaba. He soon found his way into Coach Honour Janza's 2010 COSAFA U-20 side. Zambia won the 2010 COSAFA U-20 Cup, and he soon caught the eye of scouts throughout Southern Africa.
