Post Office Palace (São Paulo)
The Post Office Palace (Portuguese language, Portuguese: ''Palácios dos Correios'') is an Eclecticism, eclectic building located in the Historic Center of São Paulo, in the Vale do Anhangabaú, Anhangabaú Valley, in the Brazil, Brazilian city of São Paulo. The complex was designed by Ramos de Azevedo Technical Office to house the Central Post and Telegraph Office and was inaugurated on October 20, 1922. It housed the Post Office's administrative activities until the 1970s, when the institution moved to Vila Leopoldina. In 2012, the building was listed as a historic site by the Department of Historical Heritage (DPH) during a process that covered the entire Anhangabaú Valley region. It is one of the most significant examples of early 20th century architecture in São Paulo.
