This riding was created in 1976 from parts of Marquette and Portage ridings. It was abolished in 1987 when it was redistributed into Brandon—Souris, Dauphin—Swan River, Lisgar—Marquette, and Portage—Interlake ridings. Lisgar—Marquette was a federal electoral district in the province of Manitoba, Canada, that was represented in the House of Commons of Canada from 1988 to 1997. This riding was created in 1987 from parts of Lisgar, Portage—Marquette, Brandon—Souris and Dauphin—Swan River ridings. Lisgar—Marquette consisted of an area bordering on the city of Brandon, Manitoba. Portage—Interlake was a federal electoral district in the province of Manitoba, Canada, that was represented in the House of Commons of Canada from 1988 to 1997. This riding was created in 1987 from parts of Lisgar, Portage—Marquette and Selkirk—Interlake ridings. Portage—Interlake consisted of an area south of Lake Winnipeg. The electoral district was abolished in 1996 when it was redistributed between Portage—Lisgar and Selkirk—Interlake ridings. This is a list of Canada's 343 federal electoral districts (commonly referred to as '' ridings'' in Canadian English) as defined by the ''2023 Representation Order''. Canadian federal electoral districts are constituencies that elect members of Parliament to the House of Commons of Canada every election. Provincial electoral districts often have names similar to their local federal counterpart but usually have different geographic boundaries. Canadians elected members for each federal electoral district most recently in the 2025 federal election on April 28, 2025.
