Porin Ässät (men's Football)
Porin Ässät (; Finnish language, Finnish for Pori Aces) was a Association football, football club from Pori, Finland. It was established in 1967 as two local sports clubs Porin Karhut, Karhut and RU-38 (sports club), RU-38 merged. The football section was dissolved in 1981 and today Porin Ässät, Ässät is known as an ice hockey club. Ässät played two seasons in the Finnish premier division Mestaruussarja (1968 Mestaruussarja, 1968, 1969 Mestaruussarja, 1969) and two seasons in the second tier Suomensarja (1970, 1971). In 1970 Ässät won the U-19 Finnish Championship title. History Ässät was established in 1967 when two clubs from Pori, Porin Karhut and Rosenlewin Urheilijat-38, RU-38, merged. The ice hockey team of Ässät got Karhut's place in the SM-sarja, while the Ässät's football team inherited RU-38's place in the Mestaruussarja. Porin Stadion
Pori Stadium () is a multi-purpose stadium in Pori, Finland. It is currently used primarily for Association football, football and stadium is the home of FC Jazz. It is also the former home ground of FC PoPa and Musan Salama. Pori Stadium is located at Isomäki sports center some two kilometres south of the city. Stadium is sometimes nicknamed as the ''Stadium of Eternal Wind'' due to windy conditions that are common on the stadium and its surroundings. Kakkonen
Kakkonen or II divisioona is the fourth level in the league system of Finnish football and comprises 36 Finnish football teams. Until the end of 2023, ''Kakkonen'' was the third-highest level in Finland, but after the creation of new second-tier Ykkösliiga, Kakkonen also dropped down one level in the league pyramid. The new fourth-tier Kakkonen is divided to three groups, each consisting of 10 teams. The II divisioona was introduced in 1973 and in the mid-1990s became known as the Kakkonen ( Finnish for 'Number Two'; ). Sakari Tukiainen finished the season 2014 as the top goal scorer and setting a new league record with 40 goals for the Kakkonen. Pekka Rautakallio
Pekka Olavi "Rocky" Rautakallio (born July 25, 1953) is a Finnish former professional ice hockey defenceman and coach. He played 14 seasons in Finland's SM-sarja and SM-liiga between 1968 and 1987 for Porin Ässät (men's ice hockey), Ässät and HIFK (ice hockey), HIFK Helsinki, during which he was a five-time Finnish All-Star. Rautakallio was a member of Ässät's championship team that won the Kanada-malja in 1978. He was named the best defenceman of the SM-liiga in 1978, 1979 and 1986; the league later named the award the Pekka Rautakallio trophy in his honour. Internationally, Rautakallio played with the Finland men's national ice hockey team, Finnish national team in seven Ice Hockey World Championships, World Championships and two Canada Cup tournaments.
