Pooja Bhatt
Pooja Bhatt (born 24 February 1972) is an Indian actress, director, and filmmaker who works in Hindi films. She established herself as one of the leading actresses of the 1990s and is the recipient of several accolades, including two National Film Awards and one Filmfare Award. Born into the Bhatt family, she is the daughter of Indian filmmaker Mahesh Bhatt. Bhatt played her first leading role in Mahesh Bhatt's television film '' Daddy'' in 1989. For the film, she won the Filmfare Award for Best Female Debut. Her breakthrough came with the romance comedy '' Dil Hai Ke Manta Nahin'' (1991), which also emerged as her highest grossing release. ''Border'' is a 1997 Indian Hindi-language epic war film written, produced and directed by J. P. Dutta. Set during the Indo-Pakistani War of 1971, the film is based on the events of Battle of Longewala (1971). It stars Sunny Deol, Jackie Shroff, Suniel Shetty, Akshaye Khanna, Sudesh Berry and Puneet Issar alongside a supporting cast including Kulbhushan Kharbanda, Tabu, Raakhee, Pooja Bhatt and Sharbani Mukherjee. ''Border'' was Dutta's dream project. He had begun working on the film's script in September 1995 and completed it by April 1996. The film was mostly shot in Bikaner, Rajasthan.
