The Poland men's national under-23 volleyball team is the men's national under-23 volleyball team of Poland. The team is controlled by the ''Polski Związek Piłki Siatkowej'' (PZPS), which represents the country in international competitions - FIVB U23 World Championships. History Polish national under-23 team qualified to 2017 FIVB U23 World Championship on August 1, 2016. The national team led by Wojciech Serafin, won all matches in qualification tournament. In 2017, the national under-23 team was taken by Dariusz Daszkiewicz. They won their debut match in World Championship on August 18, 2017 against Cuba (4–1). Volleyball
Volleyball is a team sport in which two teams of six players are separated by a net. Each team tries to score points by grounding a ball on the other team's court under organized rules. It has been a part of the official program of the Summer Olympic Games since Tokyo 1964. Beach volleyball was introduced to the programme at the Atlanta 1996. The adapted version of volleyball at the Summer Paralympic Games is sitting volleyball. The complete set of rules is extensive, but play essentially proceeds as follows: a player on one of the teams begins a 'rally' by serving the ball (tossing or releasing it and then hitting it with a hand or arm), from behind the back boundary line of the court, over the net, and into the receiving team's court. The receiving team must not let the ball be grounded within their court. The Poland national men's volleyball team is controlled by the Polish Volleyball Federation, which represents the country in international competitions and friendly matches. Poland is one of the world's strongest teams, they are ranked first in the FIVB world ranking as of 11 September 2022. WKS Czarni Radom, officially known for sponsorship reasons as Cerrad Enea Czarni Radom, is a professional men's volleyball team based in Radom in central Poland. Founded in 1921 as a football club, the club had many sections in the past, however since 1997 only the volleyball section has remained.
