Plácido Álvarez-Buylla
Plácido Álvarez-Buylla Lozana (5 April 1885 - 10 August 1938) was a Spanish footballer, diplomat and politician, who was the Minister of Industry and Commerce in 1936. He reached the highest levels both in sports and professionally. As a young man, he played football at the clubs Oviedo FC in Asturias, Madrid FC and Español de Madrid in Madrid, and Espanyol in Barcelona, reaching Copa del Rey finals with the latter three. As an older man, he had a successful political career, holding several important positions in the Spanish government, such as Minister of Industry and Commerce. Armando Giralt
Armando Giralt Iduate (23 March 1885 – 21 April 1948) was a Cuban-born Spanish footballer who played as a forward for Madrid FC, Club Español de Madrid and RCD Espanyol. He was a member of some of the oldest football entities in Spain, such as Sky Football, Madrid Football Club and the Club Deportivo Español, being a founding member of the first two together with his older brothers José and Mario, who were also footballers. He is best known for scoring the very first competitive goal in the history of the Real Madrid team against Espanyol on 6 April 1903. Joaquín Yarza Ormazábal, also known as Quincho Yarza (1881–1972), was a Spanish Association football, footballer who played as a midfielder for Real Madrid CF, Madrid FC. Along with his brother Manuel Yarza, Manuel, he was a member of the Real Madrid CF, Madrid FC side that won the Copa del Rey four times in a row, between 1905 and 1908, although Joaquín only participated in the first three, leaving the club in 1907 to join Real Vigo Sporting, Sporting de Vigo. José Quirante
José Quirante Pineda (10 May 1883 in Alicante, Spain – 30 May 1964 in Barcelona, Spain) was a footballer who played as a midfielder, being one of the first players to play for both FC Barcelona and Real Madrid. He is also remembered for being one of the first professional players of the still growing sport. Quirante was one of the most important players in the amateur beginnings of FC Barcelona, playing with them for a whole decade between 1901 and 1911. He was an outstanding athlete and cyclist and, after his sports retirement, he had a prolific career and long career as a coach for numerous clubs throughout Spanish geography. José Angel Berraondo Insausti (4 November 1878 – 11 April 1950) was a Spanish footballer, referee and manager. He was one of the most important figures of Spain's football at the beginning and middle of the 20th century, as a player, captain, club founder, manager, referee, director, vice-president and even as a national coach.
