Pleasant Gehman is an American author, writer, poet, actress, dancer and musician from Los Angeles. Career In the 1980s, she was the singer for the punk rock band Screamin' Sirens. Her articles on rock 'n' roll, American pop culture, sex, the arts and human interest have appeared in '' L.A. Weekly'' ''and'' ''BAM''. She has written and edited a number of books, including '' Showgirl Confidential'', ''The Belly Dance Handbook'', ''Senorita Sin'', ''Princess of Hollywood'', ''Escape From Houdini Mountain'' and ''The Underground Guide to Los Angeles''. Firecracker (2005 Film)
''Firecracker'' is a 2005 thriller film directed by Steve Balderson, starring Karen Black and Mike Patton, who each play two major roles. Patton and Jak Kendall play brothers David and Jimmy, who live in a small Kansas town in the 1950s and have an abusive relationship. Both brothers become involved with Sandra (Black), a singer with the traveling carnival that visits the town each summer. Sandra is also trapped in an abusive relationship with the carnival owner Frank (also played by Patton). Nancy Paine Stoll (born August 25, 1947), known professionally as Mink Stole, is an American actress from Baltimore, Maryland. She began her career working for director John Waters, and has appeared in all of his feature films to date (a distinction shared only with Mary Vivian Pearce and Pat Moran). Alicia "Alice" Armendariz (born 7th November 1958), also known as Alice Bag, is an American punk rock singer and author. She is the lead vocalist and co-founder of Bags (Los Angeles band), the Bags, one of the earliest punk bands to form in Los Angeles in the mid-1970s.
