Plasmus
Plasmus () (Otto Von Furth) is a fictional character appearing in American comic books published by DC Comics. He is a German supervillain and an enemy of the Teen Titans who possesses a protoplasmic touch and was formerly a miner before General Zahl rescued him from a cave and later mutated him. Dee Bradley Baker and Yuri Lowenthal respectively voice reimagined versions of Plasmus in ''Teen Titans'' and '' Young Justice''. Both are depicted as more sympathetic than the comics version, respectively being a human with an uncontrollable monstrous form and a child who was kidnapped and exploited for his abilities as part of a human trafficking operation. The Brotherhood of Evil is a group of DC Comics supervillains, archenemies of the Doom Patrol, Justice League and Teen Titans. The Brotherhood of Evil appears in the third season of the HBO Max series ''Doom Patrol (TV series), Doom Patrol''. Fictional team history Origins The Brotherhood of Evil was founded by the enigmatic villain the Brain (DC Comics), Brain. In the beginning, the group's motivation was world domination. Salvation Run
''Salvation Run'' is a seven-issue 2007-2008 DC Comics limited series which was designed to tie into the company's major event series ''Final Crisis'' in 2008. Premise The series, which is based on a pitch from George R. R. Martin, follows a world where various supervillains are captured by the Suicide Squad and imprisoned on a distant planet. The story features the villains splitting into alliances and either attempting to escape the planet, known as "Salvation", or choosing to rule over it. Bill Willingham started as writer, but had to hand the project over to Lilah Sturges after only three issues due to illness. The first issue was released in November 2007. Major characters in ''Salvation Run'' include Lex Luthor, the Joker, the Rogues (Heat Wave, Captain Cold, Weather Wizard, Abra Kadabra and Mirror Master), and other morally ambiguous heroes such as Scandal Savage and Catwoman. The Suicide Squad is an antihero/supervillain team appearing in American comic books published by DC Comics. The first version of the Suicide Squad debuted in ''The Brave and the Bold'' #25 (September 1959) and the second and modern version, created by John Ostrander, debuted in ''Legends (comics), Legends'' #3 (January 1987).
