Plasma (drag Queen)
Plasma is the stage name of Taylor Ratliff (born November 6, 1998), an American drag performer, actor, and singer. Plasma is best known for competing on season 16 of ''RuPaul's Drag Race''. Early life and education Ratliff was born in Austin, Texas and grew up in Mount Pleasant, a small rural town in Northeast Texas. After listening to singers like Julie Andrews, Judy Garland, and Barbra Streisand, and participating in junior high theatrical plays, he developed a love of theatre. Ratliff earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in musical theatre performance from the University of Oklahoma. Career After graduating, Ratliff moved to New York City in June of 2021 to start a career in theatre before deciding to engage with the city's resurgent drag scene. RuPaul's DragCon LA is an annual Trade fair, expo of Drag (clothing), drag culture held in Los Angeles billed as a "convention that celebrates 'the art of drag, queer culture and self-expression for all'", which debuted in 2015. "Don't Rain on My Parade" is a song from the 1964 musical '' Funny Girl'', further popularized by the show's 1968 film adaptation. Written by Bob Merrill and Jule Styne, the song was first performed by Barbra Streisand on both stage and screen. ''Bring Back My Girls'' is a reality television series hosted by American television personality Ts Madison. The first season premiered October 18, 2022 on WOW Presents Plus.
