Plappally is a settlement located in the ''Goodrical range'' of the Ranni Forest Division in the state of Kerala, India. The place is an intersection point of Mannarakulanji–Chalakkayam state highway ( NH-183) and Erumely–Thulappally–Plappally route. There is a forest station in Plappally under the Kerala State Forest and Wildlife Department. Plappally derives its name from a family named Plappally as pronounced and proclaimed by Chembakasssery Raja. Angamoozhy
Angamoozhy is a small village in the Pathanamthitta district in the Indian state of Kerala. It is located near the Kakkad Hydro Electric Project, Kakkad power station and the Sabarimala temple. Geographically, Angamoozhy is located in the Western Ghats mountain range. Geography Angamoozhy is a high-altitude area (Malanadu) situated in the southeastern part of Kerala, very close to the Western Ghats mountain range. A small river, Kakkattar (a tributary of the Pamba River), marks the centre of Angamoozhy. The second-largest hydroelectric project in Kerala, Sabarigiri, is located in this village. Thulappally
Thulappally is a small village in Perunad panchayath of Ranni, Kerala, Ranni tehsil in Pathanamthitta district of Kerala state, India. Etymology It is believed that in ancient times there were many small churches in the forest regions including Nilakkal and Thulappally as a result by the visit of Thomas the Apostle, St. Thomas in 52 AD. Places like Thulappally and Plappally in the forest were named after these churches. The head church of all these churches were known as ''Thalappally'' (''Thala'' means head and ''pally'' means church) and which in course of time became "Thulappally". National Highways 183 (NH 183) is located in India. It connects Kollam High school Jn in Kerala with Dindigul in Tamil Nadu. Starting from Kollam it runs northwards to Thiruvalla and turns east at Kottayam and runs along the northern border of Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary before crossing the border into Tamil Nadu and end near Dindigul, where it joins NH 83(Coimbatore - Nagapattinam). Chittar, Kerala
Chittar is a village in Pathanamthitta district, located in Kerala state, India. It is a Panchayat and is situated in the Konni Thaluk. It is part of the Konni state legislative constituency and of the Pathanamthitta Lok Sabha constituency. Chittar was given the Nirmal Gram award from former president Pratibha Patil. Economy Chittar is predominantly a plantation township. Earlier famed for tea and coffee, nowadays swaying rubber trees have replaced them, fuelled by the fertile land and rich ecosystem. Ranni (or Ranny) is a town in the Pathanamthitta district of Kerala, India, and the 16th largest Taluk, ''taluk'' in the state. The town is situated on both sides of the Pamba River, Pamba River.
