Plankeye (also spelled PlankEye and Plank Eye)1 was an American Christian rock band that formed in 1991 in Orange County, California, Orange County, California. The band's name is derived from Gospel of Matthew, Matthew 7:3 in the New Testament: The text "Matthew 7:3" appears on the front cover and in the booklet of the original 1993 release of Plankeye's debut album, ''Spill'', in reference to the biblical passage. History Plankeye formed in November 1991 and consisted of Scott A. Silletta on vocals and lead guitar, Luis F. Garcia on bass guitar, and Adam Ferry on drums. Plankeye's first studio album, ''Spill'', was released independently on Walk the Plank Records in autumn 1993, with the band being signed with Tooth & Nail Records soon after. History Brandon Ebel and Michael Knott conceived the label as a joint venture, before Knott backed out. Prior to forming Tooth & Nail, Ebel worked for Frontline Records. Tooth & Nail's first album released was Wish for Eden's ''Pet the Fish.'' In 2002, the label bought out Takehold Records. Insyderz
The Insyderz were an American Christian ska-punk band from Detroit, Michigan. They formed in 1996 and disbanded in 2005. The band reformed in 2009, but have not been actively playing shows in the last few years. The Insyderz are one of the "big three" bands which represented the Christian ska scene, alongside the Supertones and Five Iron Frenzy. Pop-punk (also punk-pop, alternatively spelled without the hyphen) is a rock music fusion genre that combines elements of punk rock with power pop or pop music, pop. The Police
The Police were an English rock band formed in London in 1977.
