Pine Point, South Australia
Pine Point (formerly Muloowurtie) is a locality in the Australian state of South Australia on the east side of Yorke Peninsula adjacent to Gulf St Vincent. It was surveyed as a government town in 1883 and proclaimed under the name of Muloowurtie on 24 January 1884. The name was changed to Pine Point in 1940. The boundaries of the locality were created in May 1999 in respect to the "long established name" and includes both "the Pine Point Shack Site" and " the Government Town of Pine Point." Ardrossan, South Australia
Ardrossan is a town in the Australian state of South Australia located on the eastern coast of the Yorke Peninsula, about by road from the Adelaide city centre. It is notable for its deepwater shipping port and its towering coastal cliffs of red clay. It was proclaimed in 1869 by Governor Fergusson after whom the county was named. Electoral District Of Narungga
Narungga is a single-member electoral district for the South Australian House of Assembly. It was created by the redistribution of 2016, and was contested for the first time at the 2018 state election. It is named for the Narungga people who are the traditional owners of the lands in most of the electorate. It is one of two state districts named after South Australia's indigenous people (the other being the electoral district of Kaurna). Description Narungga is essentially a reconfigured version of the former seat of Goyder, which itself was created in 1969 as a replacement for Yorke Peninsula. Gulf St Vincent, sometimes referred to as St Vincent Gulf, St Vincent's Gulf or Gulf of St Vincent, is the eastern of two large inlets of water on the southern coast of Australia, in the state of South Australia, the other being the larger Spencer Gulf, from which it is separated by Yorke Peninsula. On its eastern side the gulf is bordered by the Adelaide Plains and the Fleurieu Peninsula.
