Epik High () is a South Korean hip-hop trio formed in 2001, composed of rapper and songwriter Tablo, rapper and lyricist Mithra Jin, and DJ and record producer DJ Tukutz. Tablo
Daniel Armand Lee (; born July 22, 1980), better known by his stage name Tablo (), is a South Korean-Canadian rapper, songwriter and record producer based in South Korea. Tablo is best known as the leader and producer of South Korean hip-hop group Epik High, and the founder of independent music label Highgrnd, which housed bands Hyukoh and The Black Skirts. Tablo became employed as a lyricist while still in high school. Under the supervision of Tobias Wolff, Tablo graduated from Stanford University with honors in English literature and creative writing. He then moved to South Korea, where, in 2001, he formed Epik High alongside DJ Tukutz and Mithra Jin. Dynamic Duo (; often stylized as Dynamicduo) is a South Korean hip hop duo that consists of rappers Choiza and Gaeko. They rose to fame with their 2004 debut album, ''Taxi Driver'', which became the best-selling Korean hip hop album ever. Loveholics (), previously known as Loveholic () was a South Korean modern rock group founded in April 2002 who released their first album in 2003. Kim Jeong-sik (; born 19 November 1981), more commonly known by the stage name DJ Tukutz (), is a South Korean DJ, record producer and composer. He is best known as a member of the hip hop group Epik High. Early life DJ Tukutz had no inclination towards the music or entertainment industry until Deux sparked his interest in breakdancing. His involvement in the breakdancing scene in Itaewon led to him being exposed to Grand Mixer DXT and the Incredible Bongo Band. Alternative hip-hop (also known as alternative rap and experimental hip-hop) is a subgenre of hip-hop music that encompasses a wide range of styles that are not typically identified as mainstream.
