Corse-du-Sud (; , or ; ) is (as of 2019) an administrative department of France, consisting of the southern part of the island of Corsica. The corresponding departmental territorial collectivity merged with that of Haute-Corse on 1 January 2018, forming the single territorial collectivity of Corsica, with territorial elections coinciding with the dissolution of the separate council. The Tower of Turghju or Tower of Capu Rossu () is a ruined Genoese tower located in the commune of Piana (Corse-du-Sud) on the west coast of the French island of Corsica. The tower sits at an elevation of on the summit of the Capu Rossu headland which forms the southern limit of the Golfe de Porto. The tower was built in 1608 under the direction of Anton Giovanni Sarrola with the assistance of Marco Clemente and Taddeo Cantone.
