Piaggine
Piaggine, also called “Chiaine“ in the local dialect, is a town and ''comune'' in the province of Salerno, in the region of Campania, in the south-west of Italy. The town is located on the river Calore, 93 miles (150 km) south-east of Naples, 57 miles (92 km) north-west of Potenza. According to the official data, the resident population in 2020 was 1231. Piaggine was originally inhabited around 1000 A.D by a community of nomadic shepherds, which found green pastures among the mountains near the river. The town is famous for being the birthplace of the notorious brigant Giuseppe Tardio. Pruno (Cilento)
Pruno is a forest in the Campania region of southern Italy. It is the largest woodlands of central Cilento region. The hamlets (''Frazione, frazioni'') with this name are situated in the municipalities of Laurino, Valle dell'Angelo and Piaggine, and are considered a singular village. Pruno represents one of the most unpolluted natural areas of Campania and one of the lesser inhabited territories of Mezzogiorno, Southern Italy. Sayalonga
Sayalonga is a town and municipality in the province of Málaga, part of the autonomous community of Andalusia in southern Spain. It belongs to the comarca of La Axarquía. The municipality is situated approximately 38 kilometres from the capital of Málaga and 12 kilometres from Vélez Málaga. It has a population of approximately 1,300 residents.
